Welcome To PuebloJuneteenth.org. We are very excited for this year's celebration on June 18th, 2011. We are pleased to announce our 2011 keynote speaker Pueblo City Councilman Ray Aguilera. 

Mr. Ray Aguilera was elected to fill a vacant position on the Pueblo City Council in 2003.

Due to his tremendous leadership abilities and commitment to serving a greater good, Mr. Aguilera was soon re-elected to serve on the 2004 City Council. He was then re-elected to City Council in 2007 and was elected to serve as President of the City Council for 2011. His term on City Council will end December 31, 2011.

As a former business owner, Mr. Aguilera consistently supports business friendly legislation and never hesitates to challenge legislation that would adversely affect minority owned businesses. He is a staunch supporter of not only the Bessemer neighborhood, but of the entire Pueblo community. read more»
